H&M Dress
Today's my first blogger collaboration with Belén from B a la Moda. It's nice to meet other bloggers from around the world and introduce you guys to new faces. Based in Spain, her blog has a practical yet playful approach to fashion.
We decided to try the ruffle trend and interpret it two ways. Ruffles looked great on the runway, but transitioning them into real life seemed like a challenge. The skirt or dress was the most minimal way to try the trend so I chose this ASOS dress. Belén took the real challenge and went for the neck and shoulder version of the ruffle, see more photos on B a la Moda.

I love the ruffles, it really kicks up a basic fitted black dress. The ASOS one is pretty affordable, but think I'll try my own hand at a DIY. Maybe add ruffles to an existing dress?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, lovely outfits from both of you!

I love both ways - simple and feminine.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I would usually shy away from ruffles thinking they'd be just a little too girly for me, but this is so simple & perfect.
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea! love both, especially your minimal + black take on it, definitely takes some of the girliness away ;)
